The Tesla Model S, a car introduced in 2012 by Tesla Motors has been impressing everyone with its uber cool features ever since. From the 11 inch tablet at its heart to the cute looking remote, everything about the car is dope.
Now, Elon Musk has amazed people once again by adding an 'Insane Mode' which reduces the 0-60MPH time of the P85D (highest end 85kWh model) to 3.2 seconds from the existing 5.4 seconds, which is truly insane, considering that the Mc Laren F1 has an officially recorded 0-60 speed of 3.9 seconds. Rumours are floating around that a new firmware update will bring this time down to 2.8 seconds, which if true, would make the car feel no less than a rocket.
This might not seem much more than a bit of dumb fun, but it gives us a good insight into the future of electric cars and a future with very little emissions.
