Samsung is in the news again. Not because it is announcing a new device or appliance, but in promoting tourism in South Korea. South Korea is the parent country for Samsung, and Samsung contributes to around 17% of  South Korea's GDP.

Samsung has come up with an initiative to boost tourism in the country. To promote the tourism, it is offering Samsung Galaxy Note5 to the tourists visiting South Korea starting from today. In addition, Samsung in partnership with SK Telecom services provides 1 GB of data per day to use. A tourist can use the mobile for a maximum of 5 days.

Samsung Galaxy Notes5 is currently the flag-ship model for Samsung. 

The Galaxy Note5 has a 5.7-inch, Quad HD (2,560 x 1,440p) display, an octa-core Exynos 7420 processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of storage, 5MP wide angle selfie front camera, 16MP back camera, and a 3,000mAh battery.

Around 250 tourists visit South Korea every week. This announcement came just around when the images and specification rumors of Samsung's next flagship model were circling around.

Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to come into the markets from February 21.
