NASA's Curiosity clicks a selfie

It's the age of the selfies. We read news regarding various selfies that come into the limelight. A selfie from the top of the Eiffel Tower to the selfie clicked while on a bike. The selfie addiction even got people killed. And, then we had statistics from various sources comparing the deaths from selfies to the deaths caused by sharks. The whole topic is afloat and it is only going further up.

Quickly getting to the point, there is another selfie going viral all over the media and social media as well. So, What about this selfie?? Where is it clicked??

To understand what I am talking about, have a good look at this picture.

Selfie on Mars

Now, this is the selfie, that's spreading and being talked about right now. It's currently trending on the most popular social media, facebook and also on micro-blogging platform twitter.

Wait...Did you identify the location of the selfie??

With all the mud, gravel and a Rover....you must be wondering about the location. To your information, this selfie was clicked on Mars and was released by NASA.

Selfie on Mars

We can see the Rover's right leg scuffed into the sand for collecting sand for laboratory analysis. The rover was named Curiosity by NASA when it was sent in 2012. This picture is a collection of 57 different images taken by the rover and then was combined into a single mosaic picture by NASA. Due to this reason, we are not unable to see the wrists of Rover holding the camera which generally is seen while clicking a selfie.

So, this is it. Finally a selfie on mars.
